A die cut, timeless textures and various coloured cardstock makes a funky vibrant card for a young man doesn't it?
I'm pretty sure this card is not only for young men, I have a husband that would be enjoy it also and I am sure I'm not alone!

For this Try It Thursday today I made a bag using my gift bag punch board. Previously, I had only used the gift bag punch board to create a cute as box. With Easter just around the corner I made a little gift bag for my nephews Easter gift. Usually, I buy my niece and nephews chocolate but this particular nephew isn't even 2 months old so a sweet little gift was ideal.
It's a little hard to see in the photo but I used the horizontal score line on the top of the bag also to create a folded edge at the top of the gift bag (much like the gift bags you purchase in stores). I used this video for the inspiration on the folded edge.

A funky 3D card with bends (hence the name, bendi card) created in class this month.
While making my bendi card, I needed mini brads for the smallest flowers. Of course the only mini brads I had where silver. Nothing a quick dip in Versamark inkpad, embossing powder and a heat tool can't fix. Embossing brads is just like embossing a stamped image only I suggest using tweezers or something else to hold the brads (I stuck mine in a cork.)

March's technique class focused on the "pleated skirt" technique. Here's one of the cards made.

Just add numbers is the current challenge over at Just Add Ink and I took some time out of class samples to play. This massive card (the front measures 17.5cm x 18.5cm) is for a sweet little cousin's party this coming weekend. She happens to favour pink and ponies (of course).

When you combine party pants stamp set (a free choice with a $90 spend during sale-a-bration) with the owl builder punch and throw in cherry on top designer series paper you get a fun birthday card.
