To compliment the baby shower invitations I made recently, I was asked to make some thank you tags for noodle boxes for the baby shower. I was able to create any style tag as long as it fit on the noodle box and had a thank you message on the back of the tag.
I love how sweet the little feet are on the tag, don't you?

Try it Thursday comes from the Stampin' Up! blog (source). Artisan Award winner Jessica Winter designed this fabulous mini box using the gift bag punch board. I adored the box so much that I had to order the gift bag punch board to make my own.
By using the bow builder punch on the top of the box, the box reminds me of a Tiffany's box. Not that I have seen too many of those!
Jessica provided a template for ease but the one thing I found not listed (that helped me) was to remember to mark the side mark by using the "side 2" grove/line. To create the "triangle" shape you also score at the "side 2" mark.
I also printed out the template (with my handwritten notes) and keep it stored in my gift bag punch board box.

Today's try it Thursday project is an attempt to CASE myself. My sister had a baby boy last week and I wanted to make a card similar in theme to the one I made for one of my other nephew's a few years back (source).

Earlier this month I flew to India for a wedding. A 3 day feast of celebrations, dancing and festivities and lots and lots of food. Here's a mini snap shot of the wedding day.
