Male Happy Birthday Card x 2

I had a play today and came up with two male cards, inspired by this card. Most of the materials are the same but the cards are slightly different. I couldn't find a happy birthday sentiment that suited the cards in my stash (shock horror I know) so I created what I wanted on the computer. I used RGB codes to get the costal cabana colour on my very vanilla cardstock.

Off to Convention

This blog of mine has been mighty quiet and will continue to do so for a few more days. May is a busy month of travels for me. Earlier this month, hubs and I went on a family holiday with our crew to Queensland  and today, I am off to Stampin' Up! convention. It is held in Melbourne this year so I don't have far to travel but there has been plenty of organising going on. (Hubby's working while I'm away, so kind family are watching the darling kids while he's not home.)

Another Monster High birthday

My darling Miss B turned 7 on Good Friday. She didn't have a birthday party this year but still managed to sneak 2 friends in for a sleepover. As with Miss N's 9th birthday, B wanted a Monster High theme. 
I made her a card in a box style card

She crafted with her friends (Hema Beads and Loom Bands, inverted fishtail). Monster High Hema Beads pattern found here.

A quick and simple birthday cake, everything Monster High themed.

I used my sample of the crafting for the cake topper. Along with some buttercream icing, black fondant and chocolate buds, the cake was very simple but B loved it still.
