With Christmas drawing closer and closer, here's a card I made with stacks of presents. Kind of reminds me of our Christmas tree on Christmas Eve :)
This would also work well for a birthday card just by changing the colours/sentiment around.

I can't believe I've forgotten to show Miss 9's birthday card until now. It's a monster high card to match her cake. I used the simply easy as thinlets (circle ones to be exact).

Her birthday message is hidden behind the dotted paper on another flap. If you are unsure how to extend your framelits to create a hidden panel, contact me and I'll fill you in.
Lastly, just a mini monster high cupcake topper I made to match my son's minion toppers.
I think I am all recovered from the kids birthdays now, just in time for hubbys in a week and a bit :)

November classes
Christmas tea light pop up card class, $15
Make a slider pop card up featuring a battery powered tea light candle.

Christmas card class, $35
Make 9 Christmas cards (3 of each design) featuring products from the seasonal catalogue
Class is running over 3 months (September, October and November), attend 1, 2 or all 3. If you attend all 3 classes you'll not only make 27 Christmas cards but you'll also get to make an additional 3 Christmas cards (at no extra cost)

A new feature I'm bringing to my blog on Thursdays is "Try it Thursday". A chance for me to try a new technique, skill or new product etc that I've seen around while internet surfing and want to give it a go. I will endeavour to post a new project each week, but sometimes, life gets in the way.
My first Try it Thursday is using washi tape with seam binding ribbon for pretty pleats (source).
