3d Christmas Pop Up Card class

My most recent card class held, 3D Christmas pop up cards. Both cards feature the be of good cheer designer series paper from the annual catalogue.

Owl card

Todays' card is a shameless CASE from my upline Claire Daly. I saw her card and couldn't help but recreate it.

Materials list:
Cardstock:Early espresso core'dinations, melon mambo, not quite navy, night of navy, pumpkin pie, lucky limeade, whisper white, basic black, crumb cake, soft suede
Inkpads: Melon mambo, not quite navy, night of navy, pumpkin pie, crumb cake
Punches: Scallop circle, owl, 1 3/8" circle
Accessories: Big shot, woodgrain textured impressions embossing folder, stampin' sanding block, little leaves sizzlet

Retired stamps

I've spent today sorting through my retired stamps and have listed them all on my Facebook page HERE. Drop by if your after a bargain.

Stamps can only be sold in Australia. Postage in 500g ($7) or 3kg ($12) in pre paid post bags. All stamps are wrapped in bubble wrap prior to being posted.n

New catalogue blog hop

Blog hopping time again. Our theme is the brand new catalogue (we also have a brand new holiday catalogue released the 1st of September also) but the focus for this blog hop is this catalogue.

Baby gift tag

I made this cute tag recently for a baby shower. It was a custom order with the requirements of no pink. How do you think I did?

Materials list:

Stamps: Baby tees (stampin' around wheel), a word for you

Inkpads: Basic black, pool party, wisteria wonder

Cardstock: Pool party, wisteria wonder, so saffron, whisper white, certainly celery

Accessories: Big shot, two tags die, white bakers twine, stampin' write markers

Triple layer stamping class

September's technique class was triple layer stamping. As usual, we made two cards and a sample card.

Hostess two tags box

I've gotten a few e-mails about how I made this box so I'm sharing the measurements with you. Like I mentioned in this previous post, it was based off one of the make n takes from the Stampin' Up! heartfelt event in Melbourne. Measurements are listed in both cm's and inches with inches being in brackets and bold.

You'll need:

2 tags die (cut two of the wider tag)

Piece of cardstock (same colour as your tags) 17.1cm x 7.3cm (2 7/8" x 5 3/4")

Strip of co-ordinating cardstock, mine was approx. 3.5cm x 10cm (1 3/8" x 4")

Score cardstock as per diagram and fold on all lines. Cut out notches as shown

Using sticky strip, place adhesive on the cardstock sections with 1cm (approx. 1/2") score line 

Remove red liner from sticky strip and adhere two tags tag on both sides (you will need to add extra adhesive to the tags overlapping the base of the box

To decorate the box I stamped the crumb cake strip using music notes stampin' around wheel (and adhered it only to the front), stamped and die cut the Christmas tree (I used stampin' dimensionals to pop the tree up) and hand cut the merry flag (which is adhered onto a toothpick).

Each card inside the box is 6.5cm x 6.5cm (2 5/8" x 2 5/8") cut from whisper white cardstock 6.5cm x 13cm (2 5/8" x 5 1/8")
