Dropping by with one of the cards from my funky folds class. We made 3 cards that differ from the "normal" card shape in this class and I'll share them each over the coming days. Each of the cards uses product from the summer mini catalogue that ends March 31st. Remember this card I shared? I was asked to make a pink and blue birthday version and this is what I came up with.
Materials list:
Stamps: Celebrate everyday (retired but for sale here), bring on the cake
Inkpads: Island indigo, bashful blue, baja breeze, pool party, rose red, pretty in pink, basic black, melon mambo, tempting turquoise
Cardstock: Whisper white, melon mambo, watercolour paper, tempting turquoise

Remember the corset hen's party card I shared a few weeks back? I was asked to make another card exactly like one made by Genevieve Valdes. Genevieve made it simple by sharing her template. I made a few alterations to the template so it was top opening (not side opening) and backed it with additional cardstock to make the card nice and strong. Other than those changes, it was all Genny's template! This card is for a birthday card but it would made a lovely dirty 30 invite or a hens night invite also.
EDITED: For custom made corset card invites/cards, they are $7.95 (AUD) each.

For March's technique class I taught the stained mosaic technique. We made two cards and a sample card.

Next month's technique class is crayon resist. Technique's class is normally held the first Friday of the month but has been postponned to 1 week to April 13th next month due to Easter (April 13th, 7pm - 10.30pm).

Making Merry Monday (MMM) is back for 2012. It's March I hear you all say, yes I know it's March but by begining making Christmas cards now, this is the best way to have a lovely stock pile of cards to send later in the year.

I was telling myself I couldn't get more than two weeks behind and we are almost starting week 10, (as I still have 6 month of my last album to catch up on). I was struggling big time with this week 6 spread. I think it is because so many of the photos have the kids in school uniform and I didn't want the whole week to be full of navy and maroon...
