My kids have been invited to a pile of birthday parties of late. Here's another book I made as part of Venise's gift.

Sympathy card

I received word that there was a death in a family close to us recently. Here is the card I made to give to the Grey family. I tried to keep it simple with the focus being on the words written inside.

I learnt how to make the rose flower using this tutorial.

I think today's post really needs to be called Making Merry Tuesday, seeing as it is Tuesday not Monday. With the kids on school holidays, I had under estimated how much of my time would be spent playing referee! Boy, they sure can fight over the smallest things and we have only just started the two weeks off school. How am I going to feel at the end of the two weeks? Exhausted?

Today was spent with a lovely SU friend or two chatting and catching up with a small amount of stamping. I am ashamed to say this MMM card took me more than all day to create with all the chatting I was doing. The kids all played nicely together which was a real treat.

New catalogue blog hop

Welcome welcome to another blog hop. My blog hop creation today was inspired by a project we were shown at convention (does anyone remember who by?) I've used the Tags till Christmas stamp set to create a bundle of adhesive stickers for Christmas presents. My lucky workshop hostesses this month will be receiving their own set of adhesive stickers to keep as a thank you for inviting me to teach a workshop in their homes.

21st birthday card

My cousin has just turned 21 and I've been asked to make her card. At first, I thought "Oh my, it has been so long since I've made a 21st card, what can I make." But then it was super easy and I love my finished tri shutter card. Hopefully Ellen liked it too.

New creations - Day 7

Welcome back to day 7 of my Idea Book & Creations creations. Today I have made a card wallet, perfect for slipping a gift card into. I've used the petite pocket big shot die and folded the fabric in half before die cutting so I could widen the pocket. For those that haven't had a super close look at the catalogue, did you read the word "FABRIC"? Stampin' Up! now sells fabric. The stripes I used came from the Candy Cane Christmas pack. 3 extra wide fat quarters (68.6cm x 45.7cm) in coordinated designs for $19.95.
