It has been an action packed day and a half here since 7pm Melbourne time yesterday. My eldest daughter Nikki came inside screaming and crying and dripping blood from her mouth. She was jumping on the trampoline and (obviously not in the middle) hit her mouth on the metal edge. A 3 hour wait at the hospital to be told "visit your dentist tomorrow" and we were finally on our way home again. She has split the gum above her two top front teeth. Of course there was no appointments for the dentist today despite my pleadings that Nikki was upset and worried.... Off there tomorrow at 11.30 and not a moment too soon.

Okay, enough about Nikki, the real reason you are dropping by today was to see who designed this weeks sketch (Kim Innis) and my spin on it.
As often, I just can't work on a sketch and "copy" it. I took the main square and used that as the focus for my card. I was attempting a vintage card again, something that is not certainly my clean liner style. How did I do? Will it pass for vintage?

Last of all, but certainly not least. It's my mum's birthday today, so happy birthday chook, and NO, this isn't your card!!! We are celebrating with all the family next week so I have a little more time to make a super special card. *grin*
Did you know we have a Sketch Friday Frenzy blog? Each week the card sketch is uploaded and it's also a place for everyone to upload their own take on the current sketch. To see the next card on the round robin list, visit Sharon Field's blog.
