I hope my American readers have had a fantastic Thanksgiving. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Australia but one day, I am not only going to have a white Christmas but also celebrate Thanksgiving. Kerri, we must be visiting you for a very long time... LOL especially since Canadian Thanksgiving is in October!

Today's sketch has been designed by Tammy Baldwin. For some reason, I had a clown in my head as the diagonal shape, the only problem was after I had made my clown it was a little bigger than I had anticipated. *giggles* so I had to alter the sketch a little....

Sketch Friday Frenzy, 111910

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! All the shops are now decorating for the festive season and since I have wrapped up my Making Merry Monday for the year I felt inspired to make a Christmas card using today's sketch, which is designed by Melinda Couden.

November Stamp Club

I had a request for this months stamp club to feature a Christmas card that you can put the recipients names on. After tossing around the options I had in a short time frame, I decided a name tag on a present would work nicely. I saw a Santa Elf made by Marie Shaughessy and that was the basis for the card.

Dandenong Show

It was the local community show this past weekend (Dandenong Show) and while I didn't attend I submitted some of my work in the cards and scrapbooking categories.

I recieved a first and a high commended in the cards section for these cards

 
and a commended in the scrapbooking section for this layout.

2 more December daily page, the first one is all about grocery shopping. I even saved the recipt and have tucked it into the envelope. Very handy seeing as I took no photos on the 17th.

Making Merry Monday #34

Finally, my long awaited card for the conclusion of the October Making Merry Monday. How is everyone going with their Christmas card stash? I have a lovely pile that need addresses and hand written messages in them. Honestly, I find that to be a lot more work than making the cards, go figure!

Since it has taken me a while to get around to finishing October's cards, I will not be making any Making Merry Monday cards for November. That is not to say I won't be making anymore Christmas cards! Makign Merry Monday will return in February 2011.
