Sadly, today I haven't got my sketch friday frenzy card made. I had the plaster removed off my wrist yesterday but with the stitches still in and my hand blown up like a balloon, creating is rather limited. It's driving my crazy to be honest, in pain and not able to distract myself with what usually works. I still wanted to share with you the lovely sketch Kim Innis made. Sorry for not having a card to share today but after my surgery on Friday my wrist is in a plaster cast and throabs if it is not in a sling or elevated and on pillows. I am spewing as I can't create and I am having withdrawals, but the card will be up soon to complete the October ornament punch series.

An old high school friend is due to have her first baby soon. As a present for her baby shower I made these thank you cards for her.
I tried to keep the theme neutral as they are having a "suprise".

This morning I went to the hospital this for some day surgery to remove a ganglion from my left wrist and scar removal from my nose and consequently due to the general anaesthetic have been a bit spacey today.

Drew turned 5 on Monday and as with Nikki I made him some mini milk carton lolly bags for classmates. He was so proud to take them to kinder and hand them out...
I mainly made the mini milk cartons from retired designer series paper and they came up even more stunning then the cardstock ones I made the week before (in my opinion.)

As always, he was spoiled by us and extended family. His birthday loot included clothes, Crocs, money, sneaker skates, pogo stick, Nerf gun, nightlight/torch, metal wheelbarrow, story pillow, summer pj's, books, Star Wars dvd and toys including lego, car, solar power kit.
Since I was taking photos of Drewie, I snapped a couple of the other kids.

Doing my best single parent inpersonation at the moment. My husband is away on a boys trip to the Gold Coast and my kids are acting up bigtime! Anyone got any tips? I am used to being on my own with the kids often with hubby working night shift and a lot of overtime but they have banged it on quad strength or something like that at the moment.
