Sketch Friday Frenzy, 082710

My central heating hasn't been working the last few days at home and today the repair man came out to deal with it. Thank god! I have been freezing at night. The kids don't feel the cold so haven't really noticed it (most of the time they run around in almost nothing it seems) and hubby works night shift and has been working the last two nights where it is warmer than home so he is quiet happy! LOL

Today's sketch is brought you to by Susan Grant. As I often I do, I have stretched it to the limits with the sketch! I don't do it on purpose, just often I can't help it.

For todays card I have used a few products that are available on the last chance list (hurry the specials end Tuesday). Next week I'll be cracking open my new catty stuff. I can't wait! The owl chipboard, brown designer series paper covering the owl, stamp set, chocolate chip and always artichoke ribbons are all retiring! Freezing

FREEZING! and yes I had to write that in all caps! Last night my ducted heating had a spack attack! It turned off the safety switch in my home and hubby and I went room to room to isolate the cause... Of course it is always the last thing you check but it was the heater in the roof (not anything we found in the room to room search). It was 13 degrees here today and I don't do cold very well. I am soon heading to bed to keep warm. I feel as if I am just getting my mojo back and then this happens. I so can't function when cold so creating is on hold until Friday when the repair guy can come out.

Long time...

For the first time in what seems like I long time, I uploaded a layout over at Stamp-a-memory.

Another page for my December Daily album. I am slowly working through the days and hopefully, I will be finished come this December. LOL!

Clear out sale

Sketch Friday Frenzy, 082010

Today's sketch is brought you to by ME :P As stupid as this sounds... I had serious trouble with my own sketch! When I designed this sketch, I had some sweet pea flowers in mind. I made some and sat down to make the card as planned and well, nothing happened. Everything looked off and nothing sat right.

After that no go-er, here is what I created... I apologise for the photo quality, it is a gloomy day here in Melbourne today. A top of 12 degrees or something equally crazy with grey skies and lots of wind.

Helping Hudson

In my SAM challenge post I referred you to the Helping Hudson blog as that is where the idea for the wheels challenge came from. I had totally meant to do a write up about the wonderful fundraiser fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators are working on but ran out of time before I went away.

Making Merry Monday - August

After missing two MMM because of my holiday in Thailand (and mojo that has gone AWOL), I have decided to take August off and return in September with my MMM. Apologises to those that have missed it. Not long to go now and I plan on breaking out and using new catty products as my "theme" for Septembers MMM.

Christmas in July class

I taught my Christmas in July class recently. The ladies loved learning how to do my ribbon wreath card (one of my favourite cards I have made this year!)

As I showed them how to do the card, I made myself some more ribbon wreaths and then decided I couldn't stop and tried them in a variety of colours.
