Last "friday" of school holidays here in Victoria and I spent the day at Luna Park with my kids, mum, step dad and the my step sister's son. I am exhausted to be honest but happy to share with you today's card. Today's card sketch was designed by Sharon Field.
As soon as I saw Sharon's sketch, I had iris folding in mind. For my card I have done a slight change on the traditional iris folding and put a stamped image in the centre as opposed to the focal "glimmery" piece. Iris folding without the glimmer piece is generally known as iris twist.
Apologsies to all my US and Canadian Stampin' Up! readers that are seeing "old or retired" products on my card. The 2010/2011 catalogue isn't due to go live until September 1st.
Close up so you can see the iris folding properly
Last of all, because I could (and since it was an unusual sized card) I made a matching envelope
Stop by and check out Sharon Field's blog for her card. In case there is a link not working, I am also including links for the other team members.

Very cute -- I so want to try this technique with the big flower punch but just am unsure how to create the Iris template. Love the colours
