Lori Schuch had a template on her blog recently of a wedding card and I fell in love with it. My chiropractor got married very recently and I hadn't seen her until today to give her the card I made. Mine is almost the same as Lori's with a few tiny alterations. I used ribbon for the bow tie instead of cardstock and made a flower for the 'groom' to wear. Steph, my chrio, loved it (but I think she personally loved the one I made for her engagement better as I had all the kids sign it including Bella who told me what she did.)
Here is my take on Lori's card.
A close up of the bow tie, buttons and flower thingie... can't remember what they are called for the life of me.
Materials list:
Cardstock: Basic black, whisper white, regal rose
Accessories: Vintage brads, 1/4" basic black grosgrain ribbon, whisper white taffeta ribbon, clear rhinestone brad
Other: Non SU scrapbook paper from my stash, seed bead
love the card
flower thing is called a buttonhole.
have a great day!

This is so cute - all I need to do now is find someone who is getting married so I can make one too!
