Today is my brother, Warren's birthday. Last night, I sat down to make him a card once all the distractions where in bed and asleep. Some where along the card making progress my brother's birthday card turned from a card for a 31 year old into a newborn baby boy card. Not quite what was planned but I will share all the same.
The card is based on a sketch by Genna Gifford, who DOES NOT have a blog.
Gen, if you are reading this, *hint hint*not only then can everyone see your fab work but you can join in with on the blog hops also!

Back to Warren, George... if you are reading this (or more likely Mandy!) I hope you had a great day!
My dad struggles with names, (and yes EVEN his own children's names at times) and started calling Warren, "George" many years ago. It stuck and I fall into the habit or calling him that also (not that I forget my brothers name, just my own children's names occasionally!!! LOL, well I don't forget them, I mix them up!)
Onto the half haircut section of this post. I gave the little boys (Josh and Drew) haircuts yesterday as they needed them (who doesn't love the shaver and a 3mm blade!). Josh's went fine now problems and Drew's well, I ran out of battery power about half way through. Even using the mains power plugged in wouldn't work. The shaver was dead as a doornail. I finished off Drew's haircut after taking this photos but I am glad I have captured it for the memories. Not only does it provide a little giggle, but also will remind the kids that I used to cut their hair.
