Welcome to day 1 of my Autumn/Winter mini catalogue creations.
I will be posting a card/scrapbook layout/OTP creation for the next 7 days using products from the new mini catalogue. Just two quick notes before sharing today's project. Members from the Art with Heart team (lead by Claire Daly) have put together a colour chart suggestion list featuring the 3 new in colours (rich razzleberry, melon mambo and soft suede) from the new mini catalogue. If anyone would like a copy, I am including it with all purchases made between April - August 2010 that have an in colour product on their order. Second of all, for those that would like a copy of the current mini catalogue, contact me and I'll drop one in the mail for you or click hereto see the catalogue online.
I just want to let you know a few things featured in the new mini before showing you today's card. The Sizzix big shot is finally here! We also have a bunch of bigz, originals and sizzlets dies including exclusive Stampin' Up! dies. This allows us to create die cut shapes, envelopes and tags which we can use on cards, scrapbook pages and even home decor. The big shot can cut through various materials including cardstock, designer series paper, fabric, chipboard, plastic, window sheets and so much more.
We have a fabulous new punch style (and 3 new punch designs). They feature a large cutting surface and a sleek body which allows better punching and most of all, folds flat for storage. We also have a new type of punch, called a 2 step punch which offers more than a single image from one punch. The 2 step punch can be used with all pieces together layered into a collage or individually as simple accents.
Last of all, possibly the best (it's a tie between the big shoot and these) is clear mount rubber stamps. The uses the same high quality rubber and foam that we are used to using (and love) on our wood mount stamps and are also die cut just like the wood mount stamps. Each clear mount stamp set includes an optional labels which makes them easy to identify (and easy to position) on our clear mount blocks. They come in a dvd sized case and reduces on storage. The front of each case also displays an insert of each stamp in the set at 100% with the case spine showing thumbnail images along with the stamp set name making it super easy to find the stamp set you are looking for.
Finally, after all of the above new information, I am pleased to show you todays card. Hopefully you brought a cuppa and a treat to read this post! :D I'll see you all tomorrow with day 2.
