Making Merry Monday again! LOL, just kidding, I really love making Christmas cards. Today's two card's are my last creation using products from the current Spring Mini catalogue. Orders can be made up until 9pm this evening to purchase anything from the mini. Today is the last day products are available from it.

Materials list:

Stamps: Forest Friends (Spring Mini Catalogue), short & sweet

Ink: Chocolate chip, versamark, old olive

Cardstock: Very vanilla, old olive, kraft

Accessories: Riding hood red striped ribbon (Spring Mini Catalogue), ruby red brad

Ink: Basic grey, versamark,

Cardstock: Real red, whisper white

Designer Series Paper: Ski slope (Spring Mini Catalogue)

Accessories: Basic grey taffeta ribbon, kiwi kiss corduory brads (Spring Mini Catalogue)

Christmas tree, o' Christmas tree

Hubby set up our Christmas tree yesterday with Josh and Drew. The kids have been having a ball decorating it and "undressing" it and doing it all over again. The tree looks kinds of naked at this stage as I haven't put any lights or any of my things on it but all in all, the kids are having a blast and giving me a break. Who knew that a Christmas tree could be so entertaining!

David Strassman

Last night Nat and I went and saw David Strassman on the Ted E's farewell tour. It was hilarious and a great night out. There is still a week left to go in Melbourne and I believe there is tickets still available. I certainly would recommend it.

ATC punch art swap

In our team forum a fellow SU demo (Nikki Saddler) is hosting a ATC punch art swap. Of course I had to join in. I mean, come on, well all know how much I love my punch art.

Now what I am showing you is NOT my ATC for the punch art swap. I will share that when I have others so that it is a surprise to all in the swap. This is just another one I made mucking around instead of making 9 other swaps... LOL nothing like putting off the repetitive work at times!

One thing I do love about this ATC is it can be used as an ATC or as a Christmas gift tag as well. Duel purpose, even better in my book!

Punches: Small oval, 1 3/8" circle, 1/2" circle, word window, circle scallop, 1/4" circle (retired), trio flower, double rectangle

Accessories: 1/4" real red grosgrain ribbon

Other: Goggle eyes

I am off to teach a Christmas card class with gift tags based on some of my Making Merry Monday designs. I love teaching, it is so much fun!!!

More decorations...

After all the fun I had making some of the decorations for my 12 days of Christmas, I made a couple more. Would you believe that the little decoration (the smallest of the two) used one whole sheet of 12 x 12 paper! I didn't expect it to use that much. In case you have't noticed, I am having a love affair with the ski slope designer series paper. I am going to miss it so much when it is gone from the Spring Mini. Better get cracking with what I have left and make something else!!!

Making Merry Monday - Guest card maker

Todays Making Merry Monday card is brought to you by a guest card maker. My eldest son Josh (6). He made this card this morning while I was at the doctors and I just had to share including the wording he wrote inside and the pictures of our family.

We had a terrible night at my house last night with Nat, Drew and I up with a bug. Nat and Drew are doing fine now but I am still icky and now Josh has caught it. Luckily I kept the kids home from school and kinder today as it is obviously going around my house but while I was at the doctor's one of the children unlocked out study and grabbed my craft sisters out. We now have a half length vertical blind in our kitchen. Of course, the kids are all blaming one and another with Bella being the main focus. Only thing is, she can't work scissors very well and certainly can't cut in a straight line.

Seeing double?

My sister was looking for a card for a friend's engagement party tonight and liked this one... but it actually says thank you all along the top edges...

So I made one for her as well as I could possibily do with a chunk of plaster around my wrist. (With thanks to my Joshie boy for the below photo!)

 Here is how it turned out. Of course the dazzling diamonds is a lot finer and neater in my first card.
