Happy Halloween

We don't make a big deal about Halloween at our house but this year my nephew is having a party tonight. It is his 11th birthday tomorrow so he's having a Halloween themed slumber party. As you do, on Halloween...

The kids and I stopped by this afternoon to check out the house decorated and the kids got dressed up for the occasion. Thank goodness for the dress up box!!! Drew went as Batman, Nikki as a witch, Josh as a scary dude and Bella as a baby. Bella was dressed up as a fairy but took of her costume and decided she was tired so I put a nappy on her, gave her a dummy and a bottle of milk and said "instant baby!"

My SIL gave the kids some "candy" in paper bags and Josh told us that he got "Tricky Treating". LOL, gotta laugh at his own version of Trick or Treat!

Starting tomorrow...

Starting tomorrow I will be posting a project a day for 12 days with a Christmas theme. At the end of the 12 days, those wishing to purchase the instructions will be able to.

Target

Yes, I am calling this post "Target". Obviously we went there and in this store in Hollywood they sell brand name scrapbook products that we can only get at LSS, all groceries except fresh fruit and even have a pharmacy. Yup, all this and even more. It totally blows my mind the size of Target and that you can even get alcohol there too, not to mention the aisles upon aisles of halloween candy.

We also went to the local pharmacy to get sunscreen and they sell all kinds of candy there especially 'fun sized' pieces for Halloween and had more alcohol than Target and it was seriously cheap!

Got cha!

Just rang home to talk to the kids and Grandma let us know about Bella's latest comment...

Just before going to bed she ran around the table in the dining room and yelled "Got cha" at Grandma.

LA

In LA now, arrived today after having a blast in Vegas. Missing the time we spent with Wade & Kerri. No photos to upload yet as I am blogging from my ipod. Flew to the Grand Canyon, went to Freemasons street (which is old Vegas), ate at the top of the world resturant at the Stratosphere, ate a Hard Rock cafe (twice!) and did a million of other things but most of all, had a blast.

Heading to Farmer's market tomorrow and some shopping along with more site seeing.

Engagement signing canvas

After I made my sister's engagement invitations I asked her if she wanted a signing book as a memory from her engagment party. "Nope" was her response so we settled on a signing canvas.

The canvas uses the "starring you" stamp set which is on special this month. See here for more details.

Making Merry Monday #22

I am flying to Los Angles and Las Vegas today so my MMM isn't going to be around for the next two Mondays. I was hoping to get some time this weekend to stamp but I have been flat out with regionals, engagment party and my son's birthday and a train ride on Puffing Billy!

I will be back in a week and a half but am still contactable via e-mail whilst away.

He's 4!

Drew turned 4 today and we headed to Puffing Billy and Emerald Lake to celebrate.

Melbourne regionals

Today is the Melbourne regionals Stampin' Up! training event.

Here's a look at the swaps I made. Just one of the many things that has kept me busy this past week! For every Stampin' Up! regionals or convention I always seem to create a ATC. I don't know why, it is not like I make an ATC any other time... and it always features punches... Seems like I am setting a tradition...
