Late last week, Nikki came up with a fab. quote.

"When I grow up, I want to be a COOK-A"

No doubt inspired by Masterchef. I couldn't resist scrapping it straight away.

Bath time

This is one of my favourite layouts I started at the beach during the school holidays. I love this picture of Bella and the new supplies from our upcoming spring mini catalogue (released August 1st).

Making Merry Monday #10

Time for a Making Merry Monday again... Once again, I have a tree card.... I have a bit of a thing with Christmas trees. Each year I make a new crafty tree to add to my collection.

Cardstock: Kiwi kiss, ruby red, kraft, so saffron, chocolate chip

Punches: 1/2" circle punch, star, word window

Other: Kiwi Kiss Patterns DSP (designer series paper), ruby red brads

Masterchef

This morning Josh, Nikki and Drew were playing Masterchef. Josh was the amateur cook and Nikki and Drew were the judges. He made sauce on bread with no crusts, two different varieties... tomato and bbq and served it with a side of pineapple. Not sure what the judges said, but I am pretty sure Josh ate his own creation.

The kids are really missing Masterchef. They loved it. Must admit, I miss it too.

Baby card

She had a baby boy (Eli Tobias) after 3 girls hence the 3 pink birds on the card...

Tri shutter card

Todays card is actually a sample of one of my august classes called a tri shutter card. Class times are August 26th, 7.30-9.30pm or August 28th, 10am - midday. Class fee is $30 but includes YOUR choice of designer series paper valued at $16.95. See here for more details re my upcoming classes.

July is a fairly busy month for birthdays with friends and family. Here is one I made for a fellow demo recently.

Braille - Baby

A family friend of Nat's just had another baby girl. Natty got me to whip up a card for them. Congrats Terri and Dane for the safe arrival of Winter Elizabeth and to Poppy who is now a big sister.

I had a headache verging onto a migraine when working on this card so I went with ultra simple.

Yet another one of the layouts I worked on at the beach. Josh again as a 3 year old.

Mr Fix It

I am finally back to posting the projects I finished at the beach at the end of the school holidays. This one is of Josh as a 10 month old "helping". Uses the faux woodgrain and faux tile techniques. Photos printed onto textured cardstock to give a "canvas" look as they weren't great photos.
