School driver, cutter and measure tape... anyone?

School driver, cutter and measure tape... Is what Drew called a screwdriver, saw and tape measure when he saw me working with the totally tools stamp set for July/August 4 in 4 card class. Of course I had to scrap it straight away as it was hilorious and just has to be shared.

Citizen of the term & pj day

On Thursday at Josh's school there was an assembly for citizen of the term for each grade. We received a call on Monday saying that Josh was receiving an award and could we attend the assembly. Of course we could! We didn't tell him and he didn't even know where we at his assembly until he was on stage. I waved at him and he burst out into this very beautiful natural smile (so unlike Josh!) as he was so excited to see us. He then waved to Daddy and Nanna who were in other parts of the building.

For being voted citizen of the term from his classmates, he received a certificate and a medallion (which he calls his medal... so cute).

Nikki also had pajama day at kinder on Thursday and since I had my camera with me I went back to kinder to take a photos of Nikki with her teachers (kinder and school are next door to each other.) 

This is Nikki with Angela her kinder teacher who was also a staff member previously at the childcare the kids attend and was in charge of Nikki & Josh's room (the kinder room) so we know her quite well.

P.S. Kinder sent home a note about pajama day saying parents are welcome to attend in the pj's... I was seriously considering it but then we got the phone call about the assembly for Josh. There was no way I was going to assembly in pj's, kinder on pj day, can do...

Less than one week to go!

Less than one week to go for my Christmas in July class where you will be making a Christmas card, gift tag and Christmas decoration along with receiving a pack of Holiday Treasures designer series paper for $40.

Booking essential and must be made by Tuesday at 5pm so I can place the order and make sure it arrives in time.

Making Merry Tuesday????

Okay so Making Merry Monday #5 has become Making Merry Tuesday today (doesn’t have the same ring to it does it???) I spent yesterday afternoon rearranging my bedroom and spring cleaning it along with my walk in robe. Both are now cleaner and look way better but it meant I didn’t get any creating done until today.

Two peas thinking inking class

Here's a sample I made after watching the two peas thinking inking free class run by Jen McGuire. My sample was more inspired by one Kelly Goree (of Basic Grey fame) than anything. Since I didn't have the supplies on hand which they were using, I substituted with what I have plently of. Stampin Up! stuff... LOL

Punch storage

How wonderful is my husband! Look what he did for me on Thursday when he couldn't sleep before work... I have been waiting for him to do this for some time now but it is oh so much better. At least it means my punches aren't stored on the floor. I still need more rails etc. for my other punches but that involves a trip to Bunnings.

Just wanted to share a way you can store your punches. Bars are towel rails and holders and are screwed into an Ikea Expedia unit.

I spent much of this weekend working on my punch book. It will hold samples and finished cards, ATC's or scrapbook pages and the punches used (and quanties) to make them. Miss "No Way"

Had yet another lousy night last night with Bella, grrr... On the plus side, I stayed up (obviously and got cracking on my tax stuff for Stampin' Up!)

Just wanted to share you a photo of my Miss "No Way" taken yesterday after a shower. Talk about attitude and she is only 2! I am going to dread teenage years I think!
