Happy late eater!

Okay so they are late easter wishes! We celebrated with my brother and SIL's family on Good Friday so that is my excuse for being all out of wack! The kids had a ball at "Uncle Warren's" and can't wait to go back...

Josh's favourite part I am sure was going on Uncle Warren's "tractor". The kids loved it as I am sure my brother did too. It seems to be his favourite kind of parenting (Uncling) by just being a kid and having fun... Shame Chloe (3 months)is a little too young for it all yet!

Check out Nikki's chin. She banged it up good on the concrete last Tuesday and is still sporting a nice bruise and scrap... Either which way, she is more than pleased with some of her easter egg find.

This is more for me than most, but I love this photo of all the cousins. 5 kids under 5. Certainlty makes for a challenging photo op. Chloe can't sit yet so Dee had to hold her and try not to be in the photo. LOL...

Oh yeah, on other thing, I can't believe how long Chloe has gotten. I haven't seen her since Jan. 12 when she was still baby looking and now she is almost as long as Bella! And there is like 8 months difference or something. Miss Chloe is calling to be a tall one I am sure!

I haven't done a lot (Nat has been working) so I have been attempting to keep the kids quiet, house tidy (ha ha ha, with my 4, it's pretty hard!) and all the usual stuff. I have managed to do 2 scrapbook layouts. My first 2 of the year!!!! Pretty sad isn't it, can't show them yet as they are for a guest DT stint.

Stem Silhouettes

I've just heard the sad news that Stem Silhouettes isn't making it into our new catalogue. I was sure both French Flair and Stem Silhouettes would make it in, but no. Only a small amount from the Summer Mini is going through. These are Bud Basics, Basic Outline wheel, Backyard BBQ, Carte Postale and Leaves a la Carte wheel.

All the other stamps sets and papers will be gone (just like the retiring stock.) Let me know if there's anything you would like before March 31!

Sob, still so disappointed Stem Silhouettes as it is an fantastically simple, but stunning set that can be used for a vast array of cards including males. Yes, males! See this post for the card I made for my brother. (Reminds me, better make a card for my SIL ASAP.)

Stinking hot weather is really getting to me now and making me super cranky. Limited sleep and kinder duty today is NOT a good combination.

Weekly update? LOL

Been a busy week here (not that I am complaing...) Have had the usual stuff going on as well as deliveries, classes and magazine prep. work.

This is the class I taught on Thursday night, it's a 5.5 x 5.5 inch box that you can fill with cards, trinkets or whatever... Joshie wants me to make one for him although I think he would like it to be red and have Lightening Mc Queen or Thomas on it instead of flowers. I am able to teach this workshop when vacancies arise. Contact me for further info. Taught 2 different colour ways, using bud basics stampin' wheel and stamps (Summer mini) or simply said matching wheel.

The kids have said some absolute funnies of late but I forgot to write then down when I heard them (that will teach me). I have no doubt they will come back to me when I am in the shower or trying to sleep or something.

I gave Bella an ice cream yesterday as she "has" to be like the older kids. Who would have thought, a 10 month old could demolish an ice cream cone and not make too much mess? She is walking (well taking steps) more often now but is still preferring to crawl most of the time.

Got some photos from mum's wedding in the mail. Want to sit down and have a good look at them and plan some pages.

Can't sleep...

Okay so I went to bed once already this evening and I can't sleep so I am up and at the computer tryind to do what I hope was keeping me awake.... I needed to update the retirement list on this post. I am still not 100%, I got my voice back and then lost it again, I found it again today but am hoping to not lose it again as it is not only really painful but damm right annoying.

Public holiday here in Victoria tomorrow, will be nice as I still need the rest but Nat is working (like most public holidays). Thankfully he has taken some annual leave thursday and friday nights this week (so I can teach a class, photos to come in the next post, I promise) but is then doing overtime (dayshift) all day on the Saturday. Now, that is going to be a VERY long day for me!

I have a pile of creations to share but will have to wait on some of them as they are being considered for magazine work. I will leave you with this though.

Stem silhouettes, yet again...

Updated the retirement list here. Still not well but what can I do. Drink lots, rest, and have lots of vitamin C.

Another brief post with the card for today... using stem silhouettes again (fast becoming my new fav. stamp set).

Figures of "speech"

Todays card uses one of the stamps from the "Figures of speech" set which is ironic seeing as I still have no voice! Right now, I can equal the pain to when I had my tonsills removed when I was 14!

Down and out...

Currently down and out with laryngitis. Having “great” fun trying to get people’s attention and understand what I mean with not voice! I never had laryngitis before having kids and now I get it at least twice a year. Not sure if that means I, A. Talk too much B. Yell too much C. Am run down or D. A combination of all of the above! LOL

Have managed to squeeze in some creating though which has been good. Will share them over a few posts though.

Today’s card is what I call masculine stem silhouettes. My brothers birthday is on Friday so I figured it was high time I made him a card. Might even get the energy together and put it in the mail so he will get it in time.
