Ribbon layout

Here's my ribbon layout I made for the SM theme "ribbons". I finished it last night at 11pm after my day full of interuptions (and houes cleaning.) It was the day for visitors yesterday, not that I am complaining, but when I have nothing planned for the day, does anyone come over... Hell no!

I am not 100% happy with it as I wish the cheeky was written lower, but I am not going to redo the layout as it would mean starting from scratch and the sewing too a little while etc... I just love this photo of Josh and Nikki... How cute is it!

That's all I wanted to do was come online here and post my layout. Off to do some more boring housework, damm washing etc.

Crocs!

I went to Rebel Sport today to go and get a pair of crocs (they are sooo awesome) and of course, they didn't have the colour I wanted in my size... I am now waiting 7-10 days for them to be sent to Frankston. At least I will have a pair then and won't have to wait until I go to the States in August like I was going to do. (I didn't want to order a pair of the net in case I got the wrong size of something...)

I had all 3 kids at the shops with me (on my own). I was feeling game I guess as I even went and tried on a few pairs of jeans (and brought a pair) with the kids around... Not really a 3 kid activity.... The best bit was my jeans were on sale, orginally $49.95 marked down to $29.95. Cool, I thought, I can do that. As I went to pay for them, she said "that will be $11"
I was like, "cool" bonus... Always love it when that happens!

All from me today, I am working on a layout for the ribbons theme in SM.... Never know my luck (hopefully!)

Mini Tin

I took the photos of my mini tin today during my break from work (I had to come home as Nat had to go and have a medical for work.)

I found this mini tin to be quite a challenge at first as I didn't want my finished product to look boring so I started on the mini book inside (which I changed my mind about a few times...) I love the rough paint look on the tin and of course, all the ribbons on the keyring...

I have been feeling really lost at work at the moment. I have just gone back 2 days a week from almost never working to regular days. I am doing way more than before and the extra pressure at times is toooooo much. Today I said to my dad (my boss) that I was going home as I couldn't do anymore since I was waiting on this, that and everything else and he goes "I am glad we* achieved a lot today. It has taken a load of my mind!"
That is about as good as one is going to get a compliment off my father, so I can home feeling pretty good and not nearly as stressed... It is amazing how a few words can lighten the load.

(* Gotta love the royal WE!)

All I seem to do it work...

It feels like all I have done this week is go to work (so much for working only 2 days a week!) With Josh's operation on Tuesday and overnight stay in hospital I had to go into work on Monday to pre-do the pays and a few other things. I was in there today to make up some time for yesterday and then I am there tomorrow with me going in on Tuesday for when the computer tek comes in.... Grrrr only just started back and am already sick of the place!

Just had to share this cute photo of Nikki that my mum took of her on Tuesday (using my camera which she had no experience with... Thanks ma!)
