Christmas gift tags and layout

This year I made my own Christmas gift tags using the stocking tag punch from the summer mini catalogue. Of course, I could have used the stitched stockings stamp set that coordinates wonderfully with the stocking punch but I used the reverse side of my wrapping paper to create coordinating tags. I hand stamped names using my calendar alphabet and numbers stamp set.

While I am talking about the stocking builder punch, it is NOT carrying over into the 2012/2013 idea book and catalogue. Once stocks are depleted the item will be unavailable.

I loved this years present wrap so much, I have included it in this years December Daily.

Materials used:

Stamps: Calendar alphabet and numbers, winter post

Ink: Basic black

Cardstock: Real red, whisper white, bashful blue

Punch: Stocking

Accessories: White bakers twine (summer mini catalogue), big shot, perfect pennants die

December daily - day 5

It's silly season here and if you've been following my blog you'd notice I haven't posted many days of my December Daily. I just haven't gotten around to doing this yet and as I am planning my album to be a hybrid, it is a case of what I have time to work on right now.

My day 5 page begun like this:

I scanned in a copy of a drawing Drew did in Computer and added it to my Ali Edwards template. I then printed the template, added in some chipboard lettering (and stitched them in place for added security!) and had Drew write "by Drew" on my ipad. I printed out his handwriting and traced over it to complete the page. Of course I could have added Drew's writing in prior to printing, but I wasn't that organised! *Smirk*

December daily - day 4

I am trying to catch up with my December daily but there doesn't seem to be enough hours in each day to get it all done.

Last week, I spent the day with my extended family on my Mum's side. It was lovely to see most of my cousins again and all my Aunts/Uncles and of course my Grandmother. I made her a special album this year that she loved (more on that in another post) and the day was full of lovely weather, food and photos.

December daily - day 1

I am attempting my third December Daily this year. I have high hopes of completing this project this year as they say three times a charm! LOL

This is my day 1 page, a digital page using an Ali Edwards December Daily template. Once this page is printed, I will be add a #1 tag onto the photo. My album is going to be a mix of hybrid and traditional scrapping this time round. Well, that's the plan anyway.
