Stampin' Up! made designing this invitation easy with so many coordinating products. Floral boutique designer series paper, floral phrases stamp set and details floral thinlets. Don't they look great all bundled together?
Stampin' Up! materials used: Stamps: Floral phrases, simple serif alphabet and numbers (retired) Cardstock: Night of navy, whisper white Inkpads: Night of navy, sahara sand, versamark Designer Series Paper: Floral boutique Accessories: Copper foil, big shot, detailed floral thinlets Other: Desert queen font
Using tempting turquoise, marina mist and night of navy ink refills I brayered some backgrounds to create two different star of light cards. Both feature heat embossing with white embossing powder, copper foil, starlight thinlets and star of light stamp set. First up, my favourite of the two cards; Card 2: Which one is your favourite?
Detailed santa thinlets, subtle background text printed on cardstock, paper piecing and basic stamping was the main components of today's card. If I was to make this card again, I would print "Happy Christmas" for the background text instead of the "Merry Christmas" I used. I had already stuck all elements in place before I stamped the sentiment and I tried to not let it bother me to much but being a type A personality it is driving me crazy!
October's techniques class focused on the suspended spinner technique. As usual, all class participants made 2 cards and a sample card. I am offering a class by mail option for this class (stamp sets/punched shapes/famelit shapes are not included in the kit but can purchased at an additional cost.) Kits are $15 + postage and are available to be send worldwide. A choice of 2 Christmas cards is always available if you don't wish to make a birthday card. Contact me for the paypal link (price differs on postage location).
Next months card class is featuring the diagonal gate fold techniques. Dates available are Friday November 5th @ 7pm and Tuesday November 8th @ 10am. Places available currently on both days.
