Gretchen Barron card CASE

Gretchen Barron recently made a Father's Day card for the Control Freaks blog tour

I loved it and couldn't help but CASE it.

Color coach blog hop

Today, I am blog hopping with friends again. Our theme for this month is the amazing color coach. When I first noticed the color coach in our idea book and catalogue, I thought, nah I don't need that! Boy, was I so wrong. I love to use it to check out colour combinations without pulling out bits and pieces of different colour cardstock. Not to mention the handy colour combinations it has listed on the back. If you don't own a color coach, there is some some samples of other colour combinations shown on page 5 of the idea book and catalogue.

The color swatch I choose to work with was soft suede. Co-ordinating colours it suggested were soft suede, baja breeze and cherry cobbler or soft suede, so saffron and regal rose. Obviously, I decided to work with the second choice.

Sketch Friday Frenzy

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this post. I have decided to step down from the Sketch Friday Frenzy team as I am struggling with my workload at the moment. I have enjoyed the challenges the weekly sketch has thrown at me. I hope to still find time to work with their sketches some weeks. Stampin' Up! Convention wrap up and NEWS!

I am recently back home from the annual South Pacific Stampin' Up! Convention. This year it was held in Melbourne and was for three days instead of the two days in the past. I had a ball and have come home brimming with ideas to try. Stampin' Up! were extremely generous this year, not only did we get some fabulous stamp sets from the upcoming Idea Book and Catalogue (released in September) but we also saw some amazing sneak peaks. The three days saw me relax and enjoy the break from my day to day life, but were also jam packed full of laughter, time with friends, stamping, game shows, commercials, awards nights celebrations and so much more.

Onto the NEWS I learnt and can share with you.

Would you like an extra $70 to spend on Stampin' Up! products? For holding a $450 workshop (excluding shipping and handling) between May 23rd - June 30, 2011 you will get a level 1 hostess stamp set and $110 to spend on any product you like. Normally, a $450 workshop gives you a level 1 hostess stamp set and $40 to spend on product. Contact me to book you workshop today. If you live to far away for me to travel to do you workshop, how about a catalogue party? Show the catalogue around to friends and collect orders and get your hostess benefit's that way.

ABN's are no longer required to join Stampin' Up! If needing an ABN had put you off in the past, contact me for more information about becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Not only would you be able to stamp with me *grin* but also be privy to so much more.

Back into the swing of things now after I have arrived home from Stampin' Up! Annual South Pacific Convention. More information on convention in another post soon but first I have to share todays MMM card. How cute is the owl? I really love this owl punch, you can do so much with it and turn "him" into many characters.
