Welcome to another Stamp-a-memory challenge. The fourth challenge S.A.M creative challenge is set by the SAM design creator, Claire Daly and is to scrap a layout using 'black, white and ONE additional colour.' You are able to use as many shades of the additional colour.
To see the terms required to enter, visit Stamp-a-memory.
I must admit, I found this challenge to be quite a struggle... I went with another double sided layout, this time about my eldest son, Josh's desire to wear shorts most of the time.
I went to the extent of getting my sewing machine out to stitch lines on the shorts layout just like the shorts he wears (I had them right next to the machine!) Instead of using my sewing machine, I could have used the mat pack and an awl and down 'faux stitching' but I wanted it to look as 'real' as possible.
Close up of pocket detail...
Journaling reads:
You prefer to wear shorts most of the time (the only other item of clothing you will wear aside from shorts are jeans, not track suit pants, JUST jeans.) It drives me crazy to be honest, to see you inside the house playing or watching tv or even racing around outside on your scooter/bike in just a t-shirt and shorts. I feel the cold easily and apparently, you do not!
Materials list
Stamps: Short order alphabet
Ink: Real red
Cardstock: Real red, whisper white
